Description:

Under the supervision of the Parts Manager, this position is responsible for the efficient and profitable ordering, stocking and sale of parts.

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently help customers select parts and provide internal and external customers (retail and shop) with high quality service
  • Provide customers with information about accessory parts and specials
  • Answer telephone calls, indicate prices and provide any other information
  • Take orders for parts by telephone, technician counter, retail counter and wholesale accounts
  • Interact with Service Department to ensure smooth delivery of parts
  • Receive payments from retail customers
  • Help to stock all new parts on shelves and maintain parts properly and organized
  • Assist in conducting regular physical inventory counts

 

Qualifications:

  • Secondary School Diploma (OSSD)
  • Aptitude for customer relations and customer handling skills
  • Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
  • Good practice in telephone communication skills
  • Product knowledge
  • Proficient computer literacy
  • Ability to work with figures and perform calculations
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment to achieve common goals
  • Strong organizational abilities
  • Ability to work in a team environment to achieve common goals
  • Two (2) years experience in Parts Department, or relevant experience
  • Retail and/or automotive experience
  • Dealership experience preferred
